We are pleased to announce that Bergheim has joined the growing list of assistance dog friendly municipalities!
A nice statement by Volker Mießeler, mayor of the district town of Bergheim:
„Alle Menschen sollten einen barrierefreien Zugang zu Verwaltungsdienstleistungen erhalten, auch und insbesondere mit Assistenzhund. Mit der Zutrittskampagne „Assistenzhund willkommen – hier & überall“ geht die Kreisstadt Bergheim einen weiteren wichtigen Schritt, hin zu einer inklusiven Stadtgesellschaft. Zudem handelt es sich hierbei um eine Maßnahme des Bergheimer Aktionsplans für Inklusion.“
