Beastly good perspective

My leash end is one of the people who visits the optician more often. And as an assistance dog, I am of course always there. Both together can be problematic.

But there is another way! Although I don’t need glasses, I was invited to a photo shoot at Apollo. My leash end was allowed to accompany me. It’s a mystery to me why I was specially combed and allowed to wear the good collar, but she only went to the hairdresser AFTER the shoot. Just people.

Apollo has opened all its stores for my four-legged colleagues, thus ensuring greater accessibility. And to make sure everyone knows about this, all employees are to be informed. A photographer was commissioned for this purpose.

Of course I do my job and take care. Photo shoot or not!

We were already expected at the store in Müllerstraße. I proved to be a patient model. Even if it almost offended me when the photographer kept asking: “Can she sit?”, “Can she stand?” Of course I can! What a question! And I also look after Manja. The store manager, my leash end and I managed the changing light, passers-by darting into the picture and reflections where they weren’t needed with a lot of friendliness and a twinkle in our eyes.
Thank you to Apollo for supporting us assistance dog teams and the access campaign in this way. You have really shown your insight!
Mascha Maserati (assistance dog)

I’m a professional optician’s assistance dog. She’s about to put her chin on it and then it’ll buzz.
